Week #33 - Penny

I was walking home in the light of the moon when I heard the sound. The deafening screams echoed through the cold night; freezing my blood. I started walking in the direction the scream had come from. Adrenaline washed through my bones making me go stiff. I was getting closer now; I could hear the wimpers of two children. Then I saw them. Some cold hearted person had tied them to a tree. I quickly rushed over; cutting them free. I could see the rope burns over their skin, but they didn’t care; they were grateful I had saved them.
